We started the year with one of our video covers, Creep by Radiohead, going extremely viral and gaining us thousands of followers on Facebook!
Then I gained a place on the Future Talent programme and in The Royal Northern College of Music… Surreal!
This year I became the lead singer for the Sefton Jazz Orchestra, which is unreal, as my roots will always remain in Jazz!
Not thinking things could better, I created interest around my own original songs and caught the attention of BMG, one of the world’s biggest labels and they signed me for 5 original tracks, that are out in 2024. The youngest artist to be signed. What a platform!
I want to make a special mention to my Mum, Dad, Tav, Madge, Hamish and Dona, for being by my side the whole way. And to some very special supporters: Jim, Fugazi, Bob, Ed, Fraser, Michelle, Bill, Jonathan… the list is endless, for sticking by me, helping me reach for the stars, and picking me up, when things seemed unreachable. Forever thankful for your support!
I don’t for one minute take any of this for granted... I am grounded in the love and support of my family and the amazing supporters, old and new, who I know will stay with me all the way. Without you I couldn’t do this! I’m doing amazing at school, recently I gained two achievement awards in Music and Drama and I continue to sing for our elders living with Dementia, a reward in its own right!
